Bobbi
WAITING
The cool early mists danced along the pathway.
They darted across and beyond creating deep resonate patches of reflected pinks and blues.
After her rest she decided to ask again. She quickly made her way through until the great vista rolled open before her.
She moved down past the welcoming crowds and tapped Pete on the shoulder.
At least she thought his name was Pete.
He turned almost before she touched him and looked down into her soft bluish gray eyes and smiled broadly. His face was warm and inviting.
Then, in anticipation of her silent question he answered her sweetly.
"Sorry, not today, but soon."
And with that simple reassuring statement he filled her spirit.
He knew. So she hugged him thankfully and started back into the city.
However as she turned a corner her companion seemed slow to follow.
So she called to him. "Godfrey, come on."
